From its beginnings in the UK and Europe, the ITIL has rapidly become a
world standard for measuring and improving standards of IT service
delivery. The ITIL is the only major non-proprietary set of IT service
standards, crossing the boundaries of infrastructure type and industry,
to provide objective measurement of service quality across the whole IT
service spectrum.
Information Technology Service Management Forum
The itSMF promotes the exchange of information and experience to assist
IT organisations manage the delivery of IT services. The itSMF aims to
bring together the private and public sector IT organisations with
vendors of products and services.
The itSMF is an international organisation with chapters in the US, UK,
other EU countries, South Africa, Australia and most recently, New
